Nominations/Election Committee

This committee will be composed of three Local Council members who are not seeking an elected position. This committee shall seek nominations for each elected position and report to Local Council at the last meeting prior to the Annual General Meeting. The committee will also present its report to the Annual General Meeting and receive further nominations from the floor.

This committee will also be responsible for:

  1. preparing, distributing, collecting and counting ballots and providing the necessary materials for voting.
  2. assisting the presiding chair of the Annual General Meeting by displaying names of nominees.
  3. bringing in the report of the tellers and announcing the names of the successful candidates.
  4. destroying all ballots when certain the assembly will not order a recount OR upon being so moved.
